Our Office Technology
IV Sedation Dentistry
For patients who become anxious during a dental visit we offer sedation dentistry as a solution for patients to receive the dental care they need. IV sedation is administered by a dental anesthesiologist who monitors the patient during the entirety of their time in the office. It works quickly to put the patient to sleep during their procedure. When the procedure is completed, the patient wakes up feeling comfortable and at ease with all dental work accomplished, often with onlly one appointment.
Intra-oral Camera
An intra-oral camera allows us to examine your mouth more closely. A monitor shows us what the camera is viewing. The area can be enlarged to view any existing oral disease both of teeth and surrounding soft tissue.Visualizing a fractured tooth, an abscess, a cavity or inflamed, swollen gum tissue permits the patient to observe their situation and the dentist to more accurately diagnose and prepare a long term treatment plan for stability and function to maintain optimum oral health.
Digital Photograph
With digital photography we can produce an instant image to help determine your dental conditions. Our team will use these photos for cosmetic imaging so every patient can see for themselves what great changes dental treatments canhave on their smile. The images can be saved electronically. They show great detail with various views of your mouth almost instantly.
CEREC
CEREC is cutting-edge technology that allows us to complete your custom crown, inlay or onlay in one visit. It is an acronym for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. Using computer-aided design and manufacturing, this process allows us to design, construct, produce and insert individual ceramic restorations directly during your appointment, rather than over multiple
appointments.
